We’re looking for a Night Auditor/ Night Watch to assist guests with their overnight requests and balance accounts from the day shift. Night Auditor responsibilities include checking in guests, handling their requests and taking reservations. Ultimately, you will provide excellent customer service to guests and keep the front desk and accounting operations running smoothly. Night Watch responsibilities include , maintaining the security of the hotel, via physical walkarounds and camera surveilliance.
You will be required to learn both jobs, You will be scheduled 2 nights a week assigned to Audit and 3 nights a week to Night Watch.
Responsibilities
Night Audit
- Check in guests, answer phones and take reservations
- Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies
- Reconcile accounts
- Balance the cash drawer and log receipts
- Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts
- Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
- Help set up for the Breakfast Crew
Night Watch
- Hourly perimeter walks
- Camera Surveillance
- Problem solving
- Investigative Reporting
- Monitoring Parked Vehicles and Parking Lot
- Ability to effectively work with local agencies (i.e. towing company, police dept., surrounding business)
Skills
- Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Excellent math skills
- An eye for detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
- The ability to multitask
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Availability to work overnight
Hours per week:
- 36-40
Typical end time:
- 6 AM or 7AM
Typical start time:
- 1030 PM OR 11 PM

Employees are eligible for health benefits, after 1 year of employment. Paid time/ Vacation and other benefits are decided on an individual performance, attendance, hours worked basis. Raises are given 1 time a year and dependent on attendance, punctuality, work ethic, and ability.
