APM Overnight Valet Attendant plays a significant role in the success of the company. They are the first person our customers see upon arrival, and the last person our customers see when they depart. A warm welcome, smiling face, and professional demeanor are of the utmost importance.
Description:
The Overnight Valet Auditor is responsible for capturing and verifying all overnight ticket revenue, parking and retrieving guest vehicles, as well as serving guests in a hospitable manner to ensure positive guest experience during arrival and departure.
Overnight Valet Night Auditor Duties:
- Maintain presence and service throughout the night.
- Prepare night audit "bundle", billing and audit duties in a timely manner according to Access Parking standards and standard operating procedures.
- Investigate allowances and discrepancies, reporting issues to the manager when necessary.
- Park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely and courteous manner; use claim tickets to ensure appropriate delivery of the vehicle.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
- Load and unload luggage carts and vehicles when necessary.
- Maintain a clean work area.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Experience:
- Strong customer service experience.
- Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
Skills:
- Ability to drive a car.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
- Willingness to be flexible.
- Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
- Must be able to work unsupervised.
- Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
- Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.
Physical Demands:
- Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
