Essential Responsibilities:
- Patrol lobbies, corridors, and public areas to detect and prevent infringements.
- Respond to disturbances, complaints, thefts, and other incidents.
- Monitor for fire hazards, unsafe conditions, and damaged equipment.
- Enforce legal regulations and maintain a safe environment.
- Assist guests and team members during emergencies.
- Conduct room checks and assist with guest inquiries when necessary.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to resolve problems efficiently and deliver results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to work well with diverse personality types and maintain tact and diplomacy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and analytical skills.
- Comfortable with high visibility and assuming a leadership role in the hotel and community.
- Previous security experience preferred (Military Veteran, Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, Corrections).
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
- Current Driver’s License required.
Hours:
- Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
- Responsible for responding to emergencies on nights and/or weekends.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Light Work: Occasionally exert up to 40 pounds of force and frequently up to 20 pounds to move objects.
- May be required to lift in excess of 40 pounds on occasion.
- Safety-sensitive position subject to additional safety requirements.
Work Conditions:
- Inside and outside work environment.
- Not substantially exposed to adverse conditions.
