Moran and Sons' Lumber is a pallet recycler looking to hire pallet repair technicians.
Responsibilities and Duties
-Sort and repair pallets into specified grades based on direction of the manager.
-Employee is compensated per pallet sorted and repaired there is no limit to how many pallets they can repair.
-Replace broken boards with new board and repair the 2x4 portion of the pallet.
-Restack the pallet based on the grade of the pallet.
- Operate a pneumatic coiled nail gun.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Is expected to repair and sort 350 pallets a day.
Education Requirements - High School or equivalent.
The position is located outdoors.
There is a twelve day training period as you learn how to perform the work. This is paid at a fixed rate of 16.50 an hour for training. After the twelve-day training period you will begin working and paid based on how many pallets you repair and process daily.
A typical employee in this position earns 23.00 dollars an hour equivalent.
