We are seeking a professional, sharp-minded and detail-oriented individual to work as a Paralegal for our growing legal department. Chinese and a basic knowledge of real estate, wills & trust. Minimum 1 year of experience is required.
Responsibilities:
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Assist with filing taxes during tax season.
Assist attorney with drafting and reviewing legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and guardianship petitions.
Gather and analyze client information and documents to prepare for consultations, hearings, and trials.
Coordinate and maintain client files, ensuring all necessary documents and information are up-to-date.
Assist with the preparation and filing of court documents, including petitions, motions, and orders.
Communicate with clients, family members, court personnel, and other professionals in a professional and compassionate manner.
Stay current with changes in elder law and relevant regulations to ensure compliance and provide accurate information to clients and attorneys.
Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, handling correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
