About the Position:
We are looking for a highly experienced and organized senior Paralegal to support our attorneys and clients with estate planning, trust funding, and estate administration. This role requires a strong command of Washington estate planning procedures, including the asset alignment process, and a commitment to following through on all post-execution planning needs. You’ll work directly with clients, institutions, and fiduciaries to ensure clarity, compliance, and peace of mind.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the funding process, including preparing transfer documents and coordinating with financial institutions
- Take a lead role in managing our client care and estate planning maintenance program, which helps clients stay organized and ensures their plans remain up to date post-execution
- Duties may include meeting with clients and/or their beneficiaries or fiduciaries, facilitating discussions with financial advisors and institutions, tracking asset alignment, and maintaining ongoing communication with participating clients
- Draft estate planning documents based on attorney recommendations
- Assist with probate and trust administration tasks, filings, and communications
- Organize and maintain client files and timelines
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients throughout their matter
- Support the billing process for estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters by tracking time accurately and coordinating with attorneys and staff to ensure complete and timely invoicing
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in estate planning and administration
- Paralegal certification or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Notary public certification (Washington State) required, or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire; candidate is responsible for completing the process
- Tech-savvy and open to new systems and processes
- Strong understanding of trust funding, probate filings, and estate planning best practices
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Confident, professional communicator with the ability to build long-term relationships
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals or family offices is a plus
- Willingness to be based at either our Seattle office or our planned Eastside location (currently in development), with flexibility to split time between the two as determined by firm needs

Position Details
Location: Seattle office, with flexibility to work from our future Eastside location as needed
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, during standard business hours (office is open to clients from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

Pay Range: $75,000/year
Classification: Salaried (exempt)
Start Date:Flexible, ideally within 2–4 weeks of offer
