We are looking for several_ part-time _staff for our afterschool programs located in the wonderful Wallingford-Swarthmore / Springfield area.
- Part-time Monday - Friday 3p-6p, with additional hours available
- Preferred Education (or a related field such as psychology, humans services, social work) coursework is preferred, but not required if you have 2 years of full-time (verifiable 1250 hours) experience working with children.
- Minimum Education- High School Diploma
- Starting wage of $15 per hour or higher depending on experience and or ECE credits
As part of a team, responsibilities include:
- Supervision of school aged children
- Providing nurturing interactions with children
- Planning creative, engaging activities based on the interests of children
- Communicating with families
- Assessing the ongoing needs of individual children
- Maintaining a professional demeanor consistent with TCDN’s mission.
