At MEDCo, we all pitch in with everything. Budtender are required to assist in many things that may be outside the scope of customer interactions, including trimming, packaging, cleaning, organizing, processing, and any task needed to keep the store in operation.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Budtenders are responsible for staying busy throughout the entire shift by trimming and completing other tasks in between customers, and performing all customer interactions while ensuring compliance of each transaction. This includes verifying customer identification, verifying Maine Medical Marijuana Program certification, utilizing proper labeling, utilizing proper packaging, and utilizing proper exit packaging. Budtenders are responsible for cash handling, and utilizing the POS system. Budtenders are responsible for maintaining high levels of facility cleanliness and organization.
