Summary
We are seeking a Food Preparation Worker to join our team at Piggin' Chix BBQ. This role is essential in ensuring that our delicious smoked meats and sides are prepared with care and attention to detail, contributing to our mission of providing the best BBQ experience in the region.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
- Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Support cooking staff by preparing ingredients and assembling dishes as needed.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
- Participate in catering events and local festivals as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
