Part-Time Class 1/AZ Shunt Driver
Job description
Bison Drivers are paid every week, on time! This position runs Saturday & Sunday departing 0600 to 1800.
- Hourly rate: $26.25
- Langley Terminal Shunting for Yard/Shop and Cross dock when open on weekends
- Shunt Truck provided, with Day Cab Tractor as backup (must be comfortable using both)
- Start time and shift length is fixed
- Hours of work might change from time to time according to operational demands
- Essential responsibilities are trailer movement, trailer staging, trailer quick-checks, and trailer greasing, along with other general shop/yard duties
Candidate Profile:
- Company Driver with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
- Valid Class 1/AZ License
- Must be able to work weekends
- Well organized and possess excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable with smartphone technology for emailing and texting
- Comfortable backing in all manner of tight spaces and locations
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Reliable, flexible, and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Values safety
