Portland Gear is more than just a water-Resistant bag and a apparel brand; we are a community that celebrates the spirit of Portland and Oregon. We're looking for two enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Part-Time Sales Associates.
Location: 403 SW 10th Ave, Portland, OR 97205
Positions Available: 2 Part-Time Sales Associates
Hours: Flexible part-time schedules
Hours : 11-7 everyday
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with purchases, answering questions, and offering personalized suggestions.
- Share the story behind our products and the mission of Portland Gear.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking
- A passion for the city of Portland and the Portland Gear Brand
Qualifications :
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience in retail sales and cash handling
- Proficient in basic math and retail math
- Familiarity with stocking and merchandising practices
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to operate a cash register and POS systems
- Previous experience in a grocery store setting is a plus
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.95 - $18.00 per hour
