We are seeking a Part Time Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our guests by maintaining the functionality and appearance of our cabins. You will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance across our property. As a vital member of our team, your hands-on skills and commitment to excellence will directly contribute to enhancing the guest experience. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. You will identifying and responding to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a versatile skill set that includes basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and HVAC knowledge. Flexibility in scheduling is a must, as this role may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including HVAC filter changes, basic plumbing needs, and minor electrical repairs.
- Assist in delivering packages delivered to the office to the cabins.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain inventory of tools and supplies, ensuring that all materials are adequately stocked.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to execute repairs effectively.
- Document all maintenance activities and repairs for record-keeping and follow-up.
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must have a truck and valid driver’s license.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Ability to perform routine upkeep and repairs in a timely manner.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
