Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and functionality in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Conduct general maintenance tasks to ensure facilities are safe and operational, including minor repairs and upkeep, painting, and yard clean up.
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects as needed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide porter services by maintaining cleanliness in common areas and assisting with event setups.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management, prioritizing urgent issues.
Experience
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning methods is a plus.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or residential painting is beneficial for this role.
