Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
- Prepare patients for dermatology, internal medicine, or surgical procedures.
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and assist with X-ray procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical coding standards.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and ensuring a comfortable experience.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the medical office or clinic environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and practices.
- Familiarity with dermatology, surgical procedures, and internal medicine practices is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in coding practices related to medical documentation.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience with children whether in a daycare setting, babysitting, or having kids of your own.
