CCLI is looking for a part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a generous heart and a desire to contribute to the well-being of others to carry out our mission on Long Island. By joining our team, you will share in the joy of providing “care with dignity and life with hope.”
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, create and implement individual treatment plans which reflect advanced psychiatric practices for clients with a full range of MH diagnoses.
- Order, monitor and evaluate medical regimens including medications and tests.
- Address crises, initiate referrals and complete house visits as necessary.
- Consult with interdisciplinary treatment team including Medical Director and Social Workers as well as other external community resources.
- Communicate treatment plans and concerns to patients and families.
- Provide in-service training
for staff, clients and families. - Utilize computer to develop treatment plans and case summaries.
Qualifications:
- MSN with specialization in psychiatry, mental health, adolescent nursing or substance abuse.
- At least 2 years’ experience providing mental health or substance use treatment services.
- Must be skilled in working with children and adolescents.
- Licensed to practice in New York State as a Nurse Practitioner.
- PMHNP-BC required.
Schedule: up to 16hrs. per week – remote schedule available.
Rate of Pay: $70 per hour.
This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation, such as the value of benefits, which may be applicable to this position.
