Essential Job Functions:
- Pull and Invoice parts for delivery to customers.
- Load delivery vehicle with parts in a manner to prevent damage.
- Uses good judgment and safe driving skills.
- Picks up and delivers parts to wholesale accounts.
- Unloads truck after route is complete.
- Keeps a timely delivery route.
- Uses good judgment and safe driving skills.
- Turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts and returns.
- Pulls and prepares next day deliveries. Uses good judgment and safe driving skills.
- Obeys posted speed limits at all times and all other rules of the road.
- Helps maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.
- Helps with stocking to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
- Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and performs routine maintenance tasks.
- Notifies parts manager of any servicing the delivery vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Follows all safety and security procedures.
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Current California Driver License with satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record.
- Able to drive large Van in tight areas.
- Highly professional and dependable.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy and large parts.
- Able to work over time when needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $21.00 per hour
