SK Northwest DBA Polaris of Portland is Portland's Premier Power Sport Dealership focusing on BRP and Polaris Recreational Products. We sell fun! Our dealership does Parts, Sales and Service for Motorized Recreational Vehicles; ATVs, Snowmobiles, Personal Watercraft, Ski-boats & Pontoon Boats, Side by Sides, Motorcycles, Roadsters, Electric Recreational Vehicles, etc.
We are seeking additional staff in our Parts Department. Come join our great company! Our company was started in 1999 and has grown every year since its origin. In 2011 we moved into our new facility located on the Willamette River three blocks South of OMSI.
Parts Department candidates need to have some customer service skills, be helpful, have a positive attitude, able to ten key, look at exploded diagrams and catalogs to find items after, have selling skills, good communication, and able to ship/receive and put away stock. This job is fast pasted serving customers on the floor or at the counter, sales staff, phones, internet, and service technicians.
In addition to working with the service department we do; ebay, craigs list, oem sales, shipping, receiving, organizing, warranty claims, cleaning, inventory organization, inventory counts, etc. Very helpful if user of motorized recreational products, if so please state in cover letter. Very helpful if done similar type job before.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers
- Selling the right parts the first time to customers; on the counter, by phone, internet, commercial accts, sales dept, and service dept
- Locating parts on exploded diagrams, create invoices in an accurate then timely fashion
- Able to lift 40lbs / organizing inventory
- Supporting Service Dept with parts flow
- EBay, Craigs List, and web site maintenance
- Display Merchandise in the Showroom
- Keeping the Parts Dept. Organized
- Shipping and Receiving
- Organizing Will Call, Stock, and Service Parts
- Help in maintaining accurate inventory counts
- Warranty Claims Parts/Accessories and Returns
- Bin Counts Inventory Accurate
Pay will be base hourly + plus a monthly commission profit share of the parts dept. More experience the higher base and commission percentage. Yes we offer health care benefits! Yes staff has access to fun recreational vehicles. $39-55K/yr.
