Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement and supply chain of parts, ensuring that all necessary components are available for repairs and maintenance. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to negotiate with suppliers to secure the best deals on OEM parts. The Parts Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Buy and procure parts from various suppliers, ensuring timely availability for service operations.
- Manage supply chain logistics to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
- Utilize systems for tracking inventory, orders, and supplier performance.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify necessary parts for repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in finding the right parts for their needs.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, inventory levels, and supplier communications.
Experience
- Previous experience in supply chain management or procurement within the automotive industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair processes is a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful supplier management.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and vendors.
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems and software tools related to parts procurement.
