Patient Care Coordinator-St. Augustine
The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for dealing in all aspects of the daily front office duties. The Patient Care Coordinator will be an advocate for our patients, ensuring an excellent Patient Journey and Experience. Come work for a locally owned business!

The Position:
We’re seeking an individual who is personable, naturally friendly, detail oriented, bright, and inquisitive, and an excellent communicator. Looking for a licensed Audiology Assistant or Hearing Aid specialist whose primary position will be assisting in the front office role with flexibility to cover basic hearing aid walk-in visits. Ability to travel between all three offices is a plus but the main location will be for St. Augustine.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients with a smile
- Answering the phones and taking thorough and accurate messages
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Insurance Billing
- Completing administrative processing/ electronic recordkeeping
- Preparing charts for the next day
- Greeting patients and managing patient flow
- Completing administrative processing
- Collecting payments and verifying insurance information
- Local patient retention initiatives
- Open to travel out of state for training-generally less than one time a year
- Patient retention program and outbound calling
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED- some college preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience working in a healthcare office preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse customer, colleague, and vendor population. This includes listening, sales, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with insurance and medical billing preferred.
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task between scheduled and walk-in patients, phones, and computers.
- Must be able to work with patients on the phone and in person in a calm, respectful manner.
- Basic computer, Microsoft Office, Teams, and OneDrive program knowledge required.
- Open to commuting to Palm Coast for training and as needed.
- Ability to pass a background check.
