As a Payroll Analyst, you will be payroll for CSUSA Network of Schools.

How You Will Impact Education

Instruction/Education Responsibilities

  • Support management with various tasks and projects as required
  • Provides payroll expertise in processing and auditing payroll activities
  • Ensure that payroll processes comply with internal and external rules, policies, laws and regulations
  • Administer time keeping records for employees and management
  • Assist with year-end verification, processing and distribution of W-2 records and all other periodic reporting requirement from payroll records
  • Collaborate with HR to maintain, archive and secure all appropriate payroll and employee related data and records required by federal, state and local taxing authorities
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing data
  • Process Funding reports for Treasury Department
  • Run and analyze data for Survey 2,3, and Survey 5.
  • Write and run payroll reports for management
  • Must be a self- starter who enjoys payroll and working with others
  • Utilize all systems for payroll processing and analysis
  • Serves as a back-up to the other team members in processing of payroll and other duties
  • Performs related duties and assist in special projects as assigned by management
  • Provide clear and consistent communication of key payroll priorities to SOAs
  • Assists in all implementation and testing of any new systems.
  • Timekeeper SME

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong work ethic and team player

  • Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with various levels of management.

  • Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment with specific deadlines

Job Requirements

  • Working knowledge of ADP preferred but not required
  • Minimum 5 years' experience processing payroll
  • Working knowledge of payroll best practices
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations
  • Ability to work extended hours if needed (i.e., evening/weekends to meet deadlines.)
  • May perform other duties assigned.
