Job Description:
CitiMed is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll for employees across multiple healthcare facility locations using ADP WorkForceNow. This role requires attention to detail, strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
· Process bi-weekly payroll (W2 and 1099) for multi-location healthcare staff in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations using ADP WorkForceNow.
· Validate and reconcile timecard data, hours worked, paid time off, overtime, bonuses, and other payroll-related items.
· Coordinate with facility administrators and department managers to ensure timekeeping accuracy.
· Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, garnishments, and changes in pay or deductions.
· Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management in a timely and professional manner.
· Ensure compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and reporting requirements.
· Prepare and audit payroll reports, including earnings, tax withholdings, and deductions.
· Assist with year-end processes including W-2s, payroll tax filings, and audits.
· Liaise with ADP support as necessary for system upgrades, issue resolution, and process enhancements.
· Support Human Resources and Finance teams with ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
· 2+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-location healthcare setting.
· Proficiency with ADP WorkForceNow is mandatory.
· Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
· Experience handling high-volume, multi-state payrolls.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Human Resources, or related field a plus.
· Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) a plus.

Hourly Rate/ Salary depends on experience.
