Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of rehabilitative services.
- Develop specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
- Assess quality of patient care and coordinate services with patients and healthcare providers.
- Manage staff relations and oversee scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
- Oversee departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
-
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart
Association or American Red Cross accepted. -
One or more of the following required:
- Audiologist credentialed from the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Audiologist credentialed from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:

HHigh School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. - 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
