Summary:
The pellet mill operator will oversee the running of two 250HP pellet mills. The pelleting process is essential to the feed manufacturing process. Taking the proper steps, the process can produce 15-18 tons of feed per hour. The job requires monitoring of equipment and on the fly changes to the equipment to ensure the pellets being produces meet required guidelines.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate two 250HP pellet mill machines (training provided)
- Changing the dies and rolls on the pellet mills when needed
- Keeping track of work orders and product being made
- Run quality checks on the product being products
- Checking all related systems to ensure they are running correctly
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assisting the mixing operator when there is no product to run
Work Schedule:
- Monday- Friday, starts at 6 AM and goes until production is done each day (8-10 hrs./day).
- Work should be completed in as few hours as possible each day/week.
Relationships:
- Reports to the Plant Manager.
