Job Summary
The People and Culture Coordinator is passionate about workplace culture and brings strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and commitment to work collaboratively with employees at all levels. Duties
- Coordinate aspects of the onboarding process, including document collection, I-9 verification, and orientation facilitation
- Maintain and organize employee personnel files, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and company policies
- Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Support benefits administration activities, including enrollments, changes, and open enrollment processes
- Assist with recruiting activities such as posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications
- Ensure compliance with labor law posting requirements at all work locations
- Assist with planning and execution of P&C events such as trainings, employee recognition programs, and wellness initiatives
- Assemble and maintain P&C collateral and materials, such as orientation packets
- Track yearly reviews for employees, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
- Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a People & Culture (HR) support role
- Experience working in the hospitality industry
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Ability to work independently, as well as being a solution-driven team player
- Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Have strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times
- Be flexible & adaptable in a fast-paced work environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
