Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience delivering non-functional testing engagements, including requirements gathering, workload model preparation, test planning, scripting with Web HTTP/HTML, TruClient and web services, test execution, monitoring, and in-depth performance results analysis.
- Experience with testing tools and technologies such as Performance Centre, LoadRunner, MuleSoft, Tibco, Mule ESB, and APM tools such as Dynatrace or AppDynamics.
- Proven capability in setting up performance testing frameworks and standards.
- Hands-on experience delivering performance testing across cloud-based and legacy environments.
- Experience working in Agile teams and familiarity with the Agile framework.
- Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills when working with team members and UK customers.
Responsibilities
- Understand performance test requirements and prepare test plans.
- Create and update performance test scripts and test data.
- Conduct performance test execution and analyze results.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and communicate performance risks to the relevant project teams.
- Prepare performance test summary reports.
- Identify risks and issues, and develop effective mitigation and contingency plans.
- Produce daily and weekly status reports.
- Capture performance test metrics.
- Keep knowledge repositories up to date.
- Deliver end-to-end performance testing for assigned applications.

We are recruiting two Senior Performance Test Engineers (LoadRunner Engineers) on a contract basis in Glasgow. The role is hybrid, with three days per week required in the office. Our client works alongside the UK Governments Department for Education.
