We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a home setting and possess knowledge of HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses
- Provide basic patient care and support activities of daily living
- Helping with basic hygiene tasks, such as brushing teeth, bathing and getting dressed
- Preparing Meals
-Reminding them to take medication
-Accompanying participants to doctor's appointments and other errands
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements:
- Ability to maintain or learn how to maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a self-paced environment
