Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers and goods safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to navigate various routes while adhering to traffic regulations. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.
Duties
- Safely operate vehicles, including school buses, commercial vehicles, shuttles, limousines, and delivery vans.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality.
- Follow designated routes and schedules while being flexible to changes as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding any delays or issues.
- Handle minor mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Experience
- Previous experience in driving roles such as school bus driving, shuttle driving, or commercial driving is preferred.
- A background in hospitality or customer service is advantageous.
- Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle operation is beneficial.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Experience as a van driver or limousine operator will be considered an asset.
