Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Case Manager to join our dynamic team. The Case Manager will be responsible for overseeing case progress, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and facilitating communication between clients and attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of clients by tracking case progress and deadlines.
- Conduct document review and legal drafting to support case preparation.
- Provide executive administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings and maintaining case files.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation for their cases.
- Assist in project management tasks related to ongoing legal matters.
- Maintain organized records using PCLaw or similar case management software.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding case updates and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations throughout the case management process.
Experience
- Proven experience in a legal environment, preferably as a Case Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of securities law, immigration law, workers compensation law, and related fields.
- Proficiency in document review and legal drafting is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with project management principles is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Familiarity with PCLaw or similar case management software is preferred.
