We're hiring a Personal Injury Paralegal / Case Manager to join our team and help manage plaintiff-side personal injury cases from start to finish. This is a hands-on role requiring Utah-specific knowledge of personal injury law, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple cases with urgency and care.
You'll work directly with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters to push cases forward and help injured people get the compensation they deserve. We’re looking for someone reliable, accountable, and experienced in PI litigation and/or pre-litigation workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Client intake & onboarding: Help clients understand what to expect and get their treatment started quickly
- Ongoing client communication: Regular check-ins, updates, and support throughout treatment and the case lifecycle
- Track medical treatment: Monitor care, follow up on diagnostics (MRI, ortho, pain management), and confirm treatment is progressing
- Records & bills: Order, track, organize, and summarize medical records and bills
- Case documentation: Keep Filevine (or other case management software) fully updated with notes, contacts, records, and tasks
- Settlement preparation: Organize records, identify damages, confirm liens and balances, and help prepare demand packages
- Lien negotiation & subrogation: Work with health insurers, providers, Medicaid, or lien holders to reduce liens and maximize client net
- Support attorneys: Assist with litigation tasks, discovery, disclosures, calendaring, and trial prep (if needed)
- Requirements:
- Experience in personal injury case management or paralegal work is required
Compensation:
- Pay is competitive and depends on experience
- Must have knowledge of Utah personal injury processes and terminology
- Familiarity with medical billing, lien resolution, and health insurance coordination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle a full caseload
- Experience with legal case management software (Filevine preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
