Bloc Fitness is a new community-driven fitness center in downtown Omaha. Bloc is committed to helping members achieve their goals through personalized training, dynamic group fitness, and an inviting, supportive environment. We’re looking for a passionate and professional Full-Time Personal Trainer to join our team.
Position Summary:
The Full-Time Personal Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality personal training and group fitness sessions, supporting members with exceptional service, and contributing to daily operations including front desk responsibilities and facility upkeep. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in both one-on-one and group settings, with a passion for fitness, coaching, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Training & Coaching
· Provide individualized personal training sessions that meet client goals and fitness levels.
· Lead and coach our signature group strength program, BUILD by Bloc.
· Design safe, effective, and motivating training programs tailored to client needs.
· Track and evaluate client progress, adjusting programs as needed.
· Educate members on proper exercise techniques, equipment usage, and wellness practices.
Membership & Front Desk Support
· Welcome members and guests, providing a positive and professional first impression.
· Passion for creating a welcoming, inclusive fitness environment.
· Assist with new member onboarding, including tours, orientations, and goal setting.
· Support membership sales by discussing training options, programs, and promotions.
· Answer phone calls, schedule sessions, and manage client/member inquiries.
· Maintain accurate records of sessions, attendance, and billing using our CRM.
· Participate in content for social media marketing campaigns.
· Willingness to participate in community events in the community and outside of scheduled hours.
Facility & Housekeeping
· Ensure all training and group fitness spaces are clean, safe, and organized.
· Follow cleaning schedule. Includes floors, mirrors, vacuuming and dusting.
· Wipe down and return equipment after sessions and classes.
· Assist in restocking supplies and reporting maintenance needs.
· Uphold Bloc Fitness standards for cleanliness and member experience.

Requirements
Qualifications:
· Current Personal Training Certification (ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent).
· Minimum 2+ years of personal training experience.
· Experience teaching group fitness classes (strength, HIIT, functional training, etc.).
· CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
· Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
· Experience with membership sales or fitness front desk operations.
