Pest Control Field Service Technician
Combat Pest Control service technicians provide expert pest control services. Responsibilities include applying treatments, troubleshooting issues, keeping accurate service records, and ensuring customer satisfaction through clear communication. Training and ongoing support will be provided to help you succeed in this role.
Objectives:
- Provide high-quality property services, ensuring proper treatment and care.
- Accurately identify and address pest issues, insect damage, and offer expert advice to customers.
- Maintain customer loyalty through professionalism and attentive service.
- Use a mobile device to manage daily schedules, service reports, and customer information.
- Operate company vehicles and equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods.
- Pest control or related experience preferred.
Desirable Skills (Not Required):
- Knowledge of pests, insects, or pest control tactics.
- Experience in home service or hospitality.
- Strong time management skills.
- Familiarity with using a mobile device to manage a service schedule.
- MA Core Pesticide Applicator License.
Licensing:
Candidates who currently hold an active MA Pesticide Applicator License are strongly encouraged to apply. However, for the right candidate, we are willing to provide training and cover the cost of the exam (up to two attempts) to help obtain the required license.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with overtime opportunities.
- Saturday work during peak seasons
Compensation:
- Hourly rate: $20.00-$28.00, based on qualifications, experience, and licensing.
- Eligible for department incentives, production bonuses, and a year-end bonus.
- $1,000.00 signing bonus for new hires with a Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator’s License.
