About the position:
Come be a part of our a small team of dedicated people crafting delicious handmade dog treats! We value a good attitude, flexibility, problem solving skills, diversity, and a team-centered approach to your work.
This position is 100% on-site but offers a very flexible schedule as long as it works for the team and our production schedule.
Responsibilities:
Most of the work will be production-related: dry mixing (flours and other dry ingredients in big batches), dough making and baking as needed. Exposure to allergens such as wheat, tree nuts, and fish.
Perform tasks according to operational standards (e.g. recipes, procedures).
Bakery maintenance: cleaning and organization
General production support, which could also include performing retail packaging tasks and packing product for shipping.
Performing the duties of this job regularly requires standing, using hands, reaching with hands and arms, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Desired experience:
Some bakery experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person!
Comfort and safety around bakery equipment (mixer, sheeter, oven, etc) is required.
