Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a licensed, experienced Pharmacy Technician for a Part time position at a behavioral health facility located in St. Paul MN. This is a full time role, ideal for a technician with hospital training who is flexible and reliable.
Hours: Weekends 7 hours on Saturday 7 hours on Sunday Day Shift
Key Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:
- Prepare and unit dose oral medications
- Place medication orders with vendors and verify receipt
- Remove outdated medications and maintain inventory accuracy
- Support automated dispensing systems (experience preferred)
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and medical staff
Pharmacy Technician Qualifications:
- Active registration with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy is required (please include registration number on resume)
- National pharmacy technician certification preferred
- Proven experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a hospital or behavioral health setting
- Completion of a pharmacy technician program preferred
Pharmacy Technician Skills:
- Knowledge of medications, dosages, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with pharmacy law and regulatory standards
- Experience with automated dispensing machines is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational habits
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
