Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented bilingual Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. (English &Spanish).The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring optimal patient care within a hospital or acute care setting. This position requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication administration logs.
- Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care initiatives.
- Monitor inventory levels of medications and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge of pharmacy practices and medical terminology.
Skills
- Strong understanding of critical care and acute care environments.
- Proficiency as a Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to pharmacy operations.
