Mobile & Electronics Repair Technician (Contract Position – IndyCells, Indianapolis, IN)
Do you have a passion for fixing phones, laptops, tablets, and other electronics? IndyCells is seeking a skilled Mobile & Electronics Repair Technician to join our team as an independent contractor (1099).
We specialize in buying, selling, and repairing iPhones, Samsungs, Apple Watches, iPads, laptops, and more. This role offers hands-on work, flexibility, and opportunities to grow with a trusted local business.
Compensation
- Contractor pay: $14 – $17 per hour (based on skill and experience)
- 1099 Independent Contractor – you will be responsible for your own taxes
- Pay may increase with skill development and responsibility
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other devices
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and building trust
- Recommend accessories and promote trade-in or buyback programs
- Assist with organizing repairs and inventory
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and professionalism
Qualifications
- Experience in electronics or phone repair preferred, but training available for the right candidate
- Strong interest in consumer electronics and technology
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must be eligible to work as a 1099 contractor
