Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Conroe is a long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) located at 1500 Grand Lake Drive in Conroe, Texas. It’s designed for patients who are medically complex and require extended recovery time—often following a stay in a traditional hospital ICU.
- Specialized Care : Treats serious conditions like respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, complex wounds, and congestive heart failure. Many patients need ventilators, dialysis, or IV therapy.

How you’ll contribute
Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function.
Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities. Seeks consultation as necessary.
Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
Documents services provided and patient response/progress.
Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
Assists with patient discharge planning. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs.
Qualifications and requirements:
Education: Associate’s degree Required
Licenses: Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of TX
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
