Job Summary:
We are seeking to hire a pipe foreman to create a dependable and experienced full utility and pipe crew. Ideal candidate will have experience working on underground utility projects, including water main, sewer, storm drain, and related infrastructure installations.
Position We’re Hiring For:
- Foreman or Crew Leader
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair water, sewer, and storm drain systems
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret site plans and blueprints
- Ensure all work is performed to code and project specs
- Maintain a safe and clean job site
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- Assist in loading and unloading construction materials
- Operate and care for construction equipment and machines
- Help with setting up and cleaning construction sites
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks
- Collaborate with construction workers to complete projects in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Drivers License/Transportation to and from work
- Prior experience in construction
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical stamina and strength to perform labor-intensive tasks
- Knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Experience:
- Experience operating heavy machinery, pipe laying, equipment operating, construction labor
- Underground utility/Grading experience
