Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Planner Scheduler I. This role provides support to planning and scheduling functions for manufacturing equipment and inventory requirements. Location: In office, Staunton, VA.
Shift: 1st shift, 6am-2pm
What you will do:
- Provide administrative support to production and inventory control functions
- Review completed sales orders for accuracy and expedite paperwork related to sales orders
- Contact vendors related to on-time delivery dates
- Maintain electronic or paper files and records of current and potential suppliers, materials, prices, delivery dates and inventories
- Prepare materials and supplies purchase orders
- Analyze quotes and expedite deliveries and shipments as needed
- Process change orders, notify vendors of material and quantity requirement revisions, contact vendors regarding rate adjustments and incorrect materials
- Provide data as requested to forecast estimates and schedules of goods in process and needs for future orders
- Provide input to schedules, inventory reports, surplus stock lists, production specifications, and plant capacity data as requested
- Assist with maintaining records of in-house and on-order material
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Associate degree, Technical Degree or equivalent
- 1 year of related experience
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

- The typical pay for this position ranges from $19.38-$28.51 in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
