We’re seeking an experienced Exercise Project Officer to support HQ Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) in planning and executing high-level military exercises across the Indo-Pacific. This role is ideal for strategic thinkers with a background in aviation and military operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead PACAF PLANORD exercises through all JELC phases
- Coordinate planning, logistics, and multinational engagement
- Collaborate with U.S. and international stakeholders
- Conduct assessments and After-Action Reviews
- Travel up to 25% (CONUS & OCONUS)
Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; 12+ years relevant experience
- 3+ years in USAF MAJCOM-level exercise planning
- Aviation background strongly preferred
- Familiarity with PACAF, INDOPACOM, and military planning tools (JOPES, DCAPES, etc.)
Preferred:
- Experience with CPXs, TTXs, STAFF-EXs in INDOPACOM AOR
- Knowledge of MIPRs, AF-616s, M4S, and coordination with MAJCOMs & Joint Forces
