The PMIS Trainer is responsible for supporting and delivering training programs for Project Management Information Systems (PMIS), such as Oracle Unifier, Procore, or e-Builder. This role ensures that users across the organization are equipped to effectively utilize PMIS tools for project planning, execution, and reporting. The position is suitable for candidates with foundational experience and offers growth into more advanced training and support responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct or assist with instructor-led and virtual training sessions for new and existing users.
Provide hands-on guidance for navigating PMIS modules, including document control, cost
tracking, and workflow processes.
Support onboarding of new users and departments.
Assist in creating and updating training materials such as manuals, quick reference guides, and
video tutorials.
Customize training content based on user roles and project needs.
Provide first-level support for PMIS-related questions and issues.
Document and escalate technical issues to system administrators or IT support.
Maintain a knowledge base or FAQ for common user inquiries.
Collaborate with PMIS administrators and project leads to align training with system
configurations and updates.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback on usability and training
needs.
Track training attendance, user feedback, and training effectiveness.
Recommend improvements to training programs based on user input and system changes.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Information Systems, Business, Construction
Management, or a related field.
0–4 years of experience in training, technical support, or project coordination.
Familiarity with PMIS platforms (e.g., Oracle Unifier, Procore, e-Builder) is preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with e-learning tools is a plus.
Willingness to learn and grow in a technical training environment.
