Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong understanding of color theory and construction practices. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Perform plastering, caulking, and stucco work as needed to ensure smooth finishes.
- Conduct restoration and renovation tasks on existing structures to enhance aesthetics.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide maintenance support as required during the painting process.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills:
- Proficient in construction estimating and basic math for project planning.
- Experience in residential painting, commercial painting, and industrial painting projects.
- Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of masonry, concrete finishing, and remodeling techniques is a plus.
- Previous maintenance person experience is advantageous for addressing various repair needs.
- Ability to operate airless paint spraying equipment effectively.
