Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in utility or watercraft trailer painting and a strong understanding of manufacturing operations. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. The Painter will work closely with production and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning and, sanding.
- Apply paint using spray equipment.
- Ensure proper mixing of paint and adherence to color specifications.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment on construction sites.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and painting equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge related to sheet metal is a plus.
- Ability to operate cranes safely when required for specific tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality finishes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
