Job Details:
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for supervising accounting personnel, including Management and Management Support Team Members. Job responsibilities include strong business partnering (plant manager, plant engineer, and industrial engineering), monitoring expenditures, developing and implementing internal controls, monitoring for fiscal compliance, evaluating cost effectiveness, generating internal/external reports, analyzing information, and managing customer relations. Specific responsibilities include scalehouse accounting, yield reporting, payroll functions / accounting, profit & loss reporting, capital review and analysis on payback, and month-end general ledger reporting; other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Requires a Bachelor's degree in an academic field related to the job being filled. Accounting degree preferred. 12 hours minimum Accounting required.
Experience: 4+ years Accounting/Finance experience with at least 3 years of Supervisory experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills including generating spreadsheets, word processing, PowerPoint, and Use of Power BI. SAP experience would be beneficial along with QMF experience.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential.
Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising Management & Management Support team members.
Travel: 1-5 domestic trips per year.
