UNITS Ventura Delivery Driver/CSR Job Description/Operations manager candidate

The following points should be fully understood:
1. Daily routes are scheduled. It is imperative that the driver starts on time every day. Tardiness will not be tolerated.
2. Daily routes will often change based on the needs of either our customers and or the company. In certain rare instances this may result in Overtime. We will always do our best to avoid Overtime. We respect your life and your time.
3. Completion of the daily route does not necessarily constitute the end of the workday. Drivers are expected to help keep our vehicles, containers and warehouse in a state of cleanliness and readiness.
Delivery Driver Qualifications/ Requirements:
1. Have a valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record and evidence of current insurance coverage
2. Exceptional customer service skills aimed at communicating a positive image of the Units brand to our customers.
3. Forklift certified both in a warehouse and outdoors.
4. Able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
5. Great sense of responsibility aimed at safety of delivery systems, containers and customer’s household goods and property.
6. Demonstrate ability to act logically and quickly in adverse situations throughout the day of operations.
7. Ability to read/follow maps/GPS in order to execute timely deliveries.
8. Keen understanding of handling basic vehicle maintenance and repair tasks.
9. Capable of working well under pressure especially in adverse situations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Forklift certified and the ability to move/stack Portable Storage Containers inside/outside the warehouse.
2. Operate the Units Delivery Systems (you will be taught this)
3. Ensure that all Units containers are delivered to the customer in a safe and timely scheduled manner.
4. Load and unload both empty and full containers at the warehouse or on the customers site as scheduled.
5. Responsible for maintenance, service, and cleanliness of the truck, delivery systems (Robo), forklifts and UNITS brand containers.
6. Inspect, water test, and repair all containers for possible manufacturing defects or issues related to utilization.
7. Responsible for the overall organization, upkeep and cleanliness of the warehouse, facility and grounds.
8. Responsible for communicating with the CSR’s on scheduling of deliveries and pickups of containers.
9. Deliver purchased merchandise with Units container as ordered by the customer
10. Perform daily pre-shift inspection of the Units Delivery system
11. Complete loads/unloads either in the warehouse or at a customer’s location in a timely manner (15 minutes on site).
12. Pull/put away containers as needed for staging or storage in the warehouse.
Compensation will be based on experience. Units Ventura has a bonus program for all employees. Terms will be discussed during the interview process.
