Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Positive Behavior Advocate to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, providing support and guidance to enhance their quality of life. You will be responsible for implementing behavioral strategies and interventions that promote positive behaviors and assist in achieving personal goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and have experience working with diverse populations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, educators, and family members, to ensure comprehensive support for individuals.
Experience
- Proven experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities or similar populations is preferred.
- Experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
