Research in the Liang Lab focuses on understanding the basic principles of cellular processes to answer key questions in cancer development and viral infectious disease. The Liang lab has an opening for a Post-Doctoral Fellow to study stem cell biology in colitis and lymphoblastic leukemia using state-of-the-art techniques such as 3D platform and respective animal models; and dissecting the molecular mechanisms of virus-host interaction and their translational application. The Liang lab is a multi-disciplinary and highly interactive team.
The successful candidate will be expected to conduct independent and challenging research and work in a highly collaborative manner. Projects will discover potential new targets to guide the personalized treatment of devastating human cancers of unmet need.
