The laboratory focuses on:
- Regulation of innate immunity.
- Identifying new mechanisms of immunodeficiency (and discovering new approaches to reverse them).
- Exploring interface between persistence of HIV reservoirs and immune detection.
- Developing strategies for control of HIV-1 infection.
Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent with a strong background in HIV virology, molecular virology, immunology, and molecular/cellular biology. Experience with molecular screening, bioinformatics, microscopy, and flow cytometry is a plus.
