Public Relations Coordinator
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Public Relations Coordinator to assist in the execution of PR campaigns and day to day account management. This role will work closely with senior team members to support media outreach, maintain tracking documents, and help ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, resourceful, and eager to learn within a fast-paced, creative environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft and send media pitches, press releases, and follow-up emails under guidance from senior team members.
- Maintain and update media lists, pitching trackers, and overview sheets to ensure accurate reporting of outreach and coverage.
- Monitor media coverage and compile weekly and monthly recap reports.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitive brands, and potential media/influencer targets.
- Assist in preparing client-facing documents, including coverage reports, event recaps, and meeting notes.
- Support logistics for press, product launches, and media outreach.
- Coordinate sample sends, including tracking shipments and confirming deliveries with editors and influencers.
- Provide general administrative support.
Experience & Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in public relations, communications, or related internships preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- Familiarity with PR tools such as Muck Rack.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to work in a deadline-driven environment.
