We are looking for a early childcare teacher to join our daycare. We are a Texas rising star rated early childcare center.
As an early childcare educator, you will work with student to teach them important elements as they build their personal skills. You will also get to work and learn with a strong group of teachers.
We are currently seeking teachers for the Center who have experience working with Pre-K students for our Pre-K class (ages 4-5). Qualified individual must have:
- preferred experience working with Pre-K children
- curriculum development and implementation for early PK class using the Scholastic Big Day for Pre-K Curriculum which will be provided
- classroom management skills in a PreK class and be willing to work independently and with teacher aide if provided
- work well with other individuals, including parents, co-workers and supervisors
- excellent communication skills
- experience with driving school van for pick up and drop off to elementary school and conduct field trips highly preferred
The job will be an enriching experience for those interested in pursuing degrees in education and early childhood development.
Position for qualified individual will be full time with current schedule of 8 am - 6:00pm with 1 hour break, Monday thru Friday. The child care is in operation Monday through Friday from 6am through 630pm.Applicant for the position must be at least 18 years of age, and have a HS Diploma or GED equivalent. CDA is preferred. The right individuals must be extremely reliable and punctual, be nurturing and energetic and extremely willing and patient to work with young kids. Group care experience, specifically in same class as open position, is highly preferred.
