Saint Francis Catholic School are looking for individuals who would like to engage and develop their ministerial practice in an educational institution for School Year 2025-2026 to begin on July 28, 2025.
SFCS is currently establishing a list for:
- PreKindergarten
- Elementary Teachers Grades Kindergarten thru 5th Grade
Applicants must possess the following:
1) High School Diploma or Equivalent;
2)Able to work in the United States/Guam;
3) preferably (but not required) (2) years of teaching experience, certification, degree, or background in General Education, specific skills in core subjects such as reading, math, science, social studies, and English/Language arts; Theology; and Elective Courses (Music, Physical Education/Health, Art);
4) reliable transportation and means of communication (i.e. cellphone);
5) the ability to work with children from grades PreK-5th (Elementary School);
6) a friendly and outgoing personality;
7) the ability to demonstrate, practice, and teach the understanding and application of Catholic identity attributes;
8) the ability to create and administer lesson plans based on school curriculum standards (provided upon hire);
9) the ability to provide a healthy, safe, enthusiastic, and engaging learning environment in the classroom;
10) the ability to effectively communicate, cooperate, and collaborate with colleagues, staff, parents, guardians, students, and school community, etc.;
11) the ability to attend or participate in school-sanctioned events, meetings, workshops, and trainings,
12) the ability to volunteer for school fundraising events which usually occur on weekends, holidays, or evenings;
13) the ability to take initiative and perform other duties as needed.
